Good marketing help to promote a blog

Another important element in making money online is Marketing. In order to earn huge sum of money we need to generate thousand of traffics to our blog and for that, marketing is the way to promote. There two type of marketing and they are online marketing and offline marketing.

Both online and offline marketing provide their own strength in making money online. In this article I will summaries some of effective marketing tools that can be use when making money online. They will be breakdown into two categories, online and offline.

Online marketing tools.
Social Networking Website
There so many social networking website on the internet such as Facebook, Myspace and Bebo and when making money online this is good because they are free. For this, I am going to use Facebook as an example and details about how to use Facebook as an effective marketing tool and it will be discussed later on in my next article.

Blog Directory
Same as the above, but this time you are going to register your blog on Blog Directory such as Technorati, Blogcatalog and Digg. Blog directory is a place where after you have sign in and claimed your blog, every time you post an articles in your blog it also will appear in Blog Directory. This will increase the viewing chances and increase traffics hence will bring more money to your blog. Again details about how to use Blog directory will be posted in my next article.

Forum
Find a forum discussing about anything you expert of and to contribute your knowledge in the forum community. Build your networking and others trust by sharing your knowledge about things you know best.

Articles
Writing and contributing articles to other blogs will help you to build up a reputation, increase traffics to your blog and gain backlink that will help higher up your pagerank. Contributing an article is a perfect way to promote yourself and blog in order to make more money online.

Email
There is no need for you to massively sending email. Sometimes it could cause you being accused as a spammer. What you can do is to apply a signature describing your self and your blog activity.

Offline marketing tools
Flyers
Flyers distributing is a good idea to promote a business. It also can be apply to promote a blog or website. One thing to be remembered when distributing a flyer is to locate a strategic spot where many people walking by and target people available.

Poster
Stick a poster about your product in a strategic place without breaking any rules with public authorities. Poster must be informative and interactive to attract people. People only interested poster with less wording and more picture.
